Bourses de leadership et d'engagement
The Bourses de leadership et d'engagement (Leadership and Engagement Scholarship) program at Université Laval supports talented students demonstrating exceptional engagement in one of six activity sectors: artistic, entrepreneurial, environmental, scientific, social/humanitarian, and sports. This program is designed to support students financially throughout their undergraduate or graduate studies at Université Laval. The scholarship is available to students who have submitted a new admission application for the winter, summer, or fall 2026 session in a regular program (bachelor's, master's, or doctorate) at Université Laval. Award amounts vary by level of study, ranging from $6,000-$8,000 for bachelor's students, $10,000 for master's students, and up to $30,000 for doctoral students, distributed per academic session. The scholarship recognizes and rewards exceptional commitment and leadership in key areas that contribute to society and community development.
Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplement
The Canada Graduate Scholarships – Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplements (CGS-MSFSS) support high-calibre Canadian graduate students in building global linkages and international networks through the pursuit of exceptional research experiences at research institutions abroad. By accessing international scientific research and training, CGS-MSFSS recipients will contribute to strengthening the potential for collaboration between Canadian and foreign institutions. This supplement is available to students who hold an active Canada Graduate Scholarship at either the Master's or Doctoral level. Recipients must be registered in a graduate research studies program at a Canadian institution for the duration of their research study period abroad and must return to complete their degree at their Canadian institution.
Aperture Innovation Accelerator
The Aperture Innovation Accelerator provides seed funding for early-stage startups working on technologies that Cave Johnson himself would have approved of. We're looking for moonshot ideas that conventional funders would consider "too dangerous" or "scientifically impossible." Past cohort projects include: combustible lemon batteries, portal-powered logistics, and sentient turret therapy systems. If your idea makes safety officers nervous, you might be a perfect fit.
