SSDV Vårmöte 2026 - Posterpriser
SSDV (Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology) is offering poster prizes at their 2026 Spring Meeting to be held in Uddevalla, May 20-22. Two prizes of 5,000 SEK each will be awarded for the best posters - one selected by a judging committee and one voted on by meeting participants. Additionally, up to six accepted abstracts will receive full conference registration fee coverage (for early bird registration by March 31, 2026). The opportunity is open to researchers presenting new data from clinical or experimental dermatovenereological research. Participants submit abstracts with original research findings, which are reviewed by SSDV's interest group for research and basic education. The abstract submission deadline is January 23, 2026, with acceptance notifications by February 9, 2026.
Forskningsstipendium inom kroniska inflammatoriska hudsjukdomar
The Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology (SSDV) research scholarship has been established with support from Novartis Sverige AB to support Swedish research in chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The scholarship is awarded in connection with SSDV's spring meeting, where the recipient is encouraged to give a short presentation about their research project. The scholarship of 100,000 Swedish kronor is intended for SSDV members working on research projects aimed at improved care and treatment or increased understanding of chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The scholarship is not intended for financing travel to conferences or similar activities.
SSDV:s stipendium för dermato-venereologisk forskning
Svenska Sällskapet för Dermatologi och Venereologi (SSDV) offers a research grant for the initiation of new research projects in dermatology and venereology. The grant prioritizes research in areas where funding is typically more difficult to obtain, including venereology, genital dermatoses, gendermatoses, psychodermatology, and rare dermatological diseases. Innovative ideas are encouraged. The grant totals 100,000 SEK distributed among 1-2 recipients and can be used for starting up new research projects. All SSDV members are eligible to apply. The grant is not intended to finance travel to congresses.
