This grant program supports development and collaboration projects in child welfare services in Norway. The program funds time-limited initiatives and measures with high probability of achieving goals, supporting the development of new approaches and improved dialogue between different services and actors in the child welfare field. Projects can receive funding for up to three years. Priority is given to projects focused on user participation (especially children with child welfare experience), dialogue between child welfare services and minority populations (including indigenous and national minorities), and facilitating involvement of vulnerable children's relatives and networks. The goal is to develop the child welfare field through prevention of problem development and ensuring that vulnerable children and youth receive better help for life management and development in safe environments.

TryggEst is a grant program supporting competence-building initiatives to prevent violence against vulnerable adults in Norwegian municipalities. The program provides funding for municipalities that have implemented or plan to implement the TryggEst program, which focuses on protecting vulnerable groups including people with developmental disabilities, elderly persons, and patients with reduced functional capacity. Municipalities can apply for funding to support training, course participation, local information materials, conversation groups for target populations, and awareness campaigns. The initiative aims to increase competence among municipal employees about violence and abuse, improve detection of violence cases, and ensure proper handling of such cases. Priority is given to municipalities newly starting the TryggEst program.

Organizations must be registered in the Norwegian Volunteer Registry and demonstrate that the program's objectives align with their core activities. The grant supports general operations of organizations that promote user participation in child welfare at individual, group and system levels. Organizations must have operated for at least two years and have a nationwide reach. The program aims to support organizations that complement other actors' efforts, have systematic influence at the system level, are representative of the target group, work for their own target group's interests, and facilitate their target group's ability to influence and participate in the organization.

This is a grant program from the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir) that provides funding for housing and support services for persons over 18 years old who have been subjected to negative social control and honor-related violence. The grant supports the operation of a national service offering that helps users within safe frameworks to re-establish themselves and live as normal a life as possible. The service is intended to supplement the legally mandated support services in municipalities. Bufdir has overall responsibility for the housing and support services for young people subjected to forced marriage and honor-related violence, with the Competence Team against Negative Social Control and Honor-Related Violence coordinating and administering the service, while municipalities have operational responsibility for the content and operation of individual services.

This is a comprehensive Norwegian grant program designed to promote inclusion of children and youth aged 0-24 who are at risk of social exclusion. The program aims to facilitate participation in leisure activities, holiday programs, educational completion, and community engagement. The program offers funding across 12 different activity types, including cultural and recreational activities, job opportunities and guidance, equipment centers, local activity funds, activity cards, activity guides, youth navigators, open meeting places, pilot programs for new working methods, coordination of local work, and support for voluntary organizations operating in multiple municipalities. The target group includes children and youth facing risk factors such as low family income, limited social networks, lack of connection to school or work, and limited participation in leisure activities.

Asker kommune offers a grant program to support organizations, associations, clubs and other actors that provide food distribution to families and individuals living with low-income challenges during the Christmas season. The goal of this funding is to support extra food distribution activities in connection with the Christmas period. The funds must primarily be used in the current year, and applicants can expect a response within three weeks after the application is submitted.
