This grant program supports large sports events at the national level, as well as events for people with disabilities and events specifically aimed at inclusion at the regional level. The funding scheme is managed by Trøndelag County Council (Trøndelag fylkeskommune) and aims to support sports events that have national or international status, such as national championships and Norwegian cup competitions. Priority is given to youth events, and events for people with disabilities or those specifically focused on inclusion can receive support even at the regional level. The grant supports sports clubs, voluntary organizations, and municipalities organizing these events. Applications must demonstrate community support through municipal backing and meet specific criteria regarding the scale and nature of the event.
