Fagskoletilskudd - Vestfold fylkeskommune
Vestfold fylkeskommune provides operational grants to vocational colleges (fagskoler) in the county to offer competence that is needed locally, regionally and nationally. Both private and public vocational colleges can apply for grants for higher vocational education. The county administers operational grants for higher vocational education, with funding allocated from the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir). Funds the county receives from HK-dir are distributed to private and county-owned vocational colleges in the county. The grant supports NOKUT-accredited higher vocational education programs and aims to stimulate quality and completion in higher vocational education while meeting society's competence needs. Priority is given to education aligned with regional competence strategies, sustainable development and the green transition, time-relevant content, programs developed in close collaboration with the workforce, and education important at regional or national levels.
Tilskudd til tekniske og industrielle kulturminner
Trøndelag fylkeskommune offers grants to preserve technical and industrial heritage sites. The program supports owners of technical and industrial cultural heritage sites with funding for preservation, maintenance, and documentation activities. Technical and industrial cultural heritage includes traces of industrial culture with historical, technological, social, architectural or scientific value, encompassing buildings, production lines with machinery, transportation infrastructure, and associated social structures like housing, religious buildings, schools, and recreational areas. The grant aims to preserve essential parts of the county's technical and industrial history as a foundation for research, communication, experiences, and potential new uses.
