This grant program supports the dissemination of professional performing arts through planned individual guest performances and tours. Funding can cover travel and fee expenses, as well as support for extended producer assistance for tour planning and further dissemination. The grant may also cover certain expenses for resuming productions, including fees, travel and accommodation expenses, and rehearsal costs.

The program provides professional frameworks and opportunities for musicians to develop artistically and perform concerts domestically and abroad. Grants are available as either project grants (for specific concerts and tours) or operational grants (for organizations with comprehensive year-round concert activities). Project grants can support single tours or multiple concerts throughout the year with a maximum period of one year, while operational grants support year-round operations and can be awarded for up to three years. The program emphasizes concert activities in Norway particularly, though international activities are also eligible.

This grant program aims to promote the production and dissemination of sound recordings and to contribute to a broad and diverse range of professional high-quality audio projects. The fund is also a collective compensation scheme distributed to benefit rights holders who have their works copied for private use. The program supports projects within the music and audio art field, including production and dissemination of sound recordings, concert activities and tours, composition and audio art, text production for music projects, and composite projects that combine several of these areas. The fund is administered by Fond for lyd og bilde and aims to ensure geographic and genre diversity in its support. Applications are evaluated by a committee with relevant expertise appointed by the fund's board, with final decisions made by the board based on the committee's recommendations.
