Tilskudd til friluftslivsarbeid
Rogaland fylkeskommune distributes approximately 2 million NOK annually to various outdoor recreation projects. This grant supports voluntary organizations and municipalities in building shelters, marking trails, organizing outdoor events, developing hiking paths, parking areas, and managing outdoor areas threatened by invasive species. The grant aims to achieve goals outlined in the Regional Plan for Outdoor Recreation and Nature Management (Ute i Rogaland) by supporting development and maintenance of regionally important nature and outdoor recreation areas, motivating outdoor activities, and disseminating knowledge about outdoor recreation. Projects must be implemented in Rogaland and align with the plan's vision of outdoor recreation for all in Rogaland while preserving nature as the foundation for life, development, and experience.
Spillemidler til friluftslivsanlegg
Buskerud fylkeskommune distributes annual gaming funds (spillemidler) for outdoor recreation facilities in Buskerud county, Norway. This grant program supports the development of outdoor recreation facilities such as day cabins, hiking trails, ski trails, signage and markings, and sanitary facilities connected to outdoor activity areas. Applications are submitted through municipalities, which have different application deadlines typically during the fall. Physical development requires landowner permission and usually a permit from the municipality. The grant program prioritizes outdoor recreation facilities with rapid allocation of funds, and these facilities typically receive funding in their first year of application. Eligible applicants include municipalities, sports clubs under the Norwegian Sports Confederation, outdoor organizations under Norwegian Outdoor Life, the National Association of Outdoor Councils, and the Oslofjorden Outdoor Council.
