Medac stipendium

The Medac stipendium is a scholarship established by Medac for urology with a focus on bladder cancer. The scholarship is available to licensed nurses who are members of RSU (Riksföreningen för Sjuksköterskor inom Urologi) and work in urology. The purpose of the scholarship is to stimulate nurses to develop care for patients with urinary bladder cancer diagnosis. The scholarship can be applied for development and research work, courses, education, and clinical placements. The scholarship does not cover costs for bachelor's/master's thesis, university education or equivalent that are eligible for student grants. The annual scholarship amount is 20,000 SEK and can be distributed among one or more applicants. Recipients are required to submit a written report of at least one A4 page with 12-point font that can be published in the association's journal Svensk Urologi and/or on the association's website.

RSU stipendium

RSU (Riksföreningen för Sjuksköterskor i Urologi) has established a scholarship within urology for licensed nurses who are members of RSU for at least one year and work in urology. The scholarship aims to stimulate nurses to develop care for urological patients. The scholarship can be applied for to cover costs related to travel for conferences, development and improvement work, courses, education, and observational visits. The scholarship is not intended to cover costs for bachelor's/master's thesis, university education, or equivalent that are eligible for student aid. The scholarship is awarded twice a year with application deadlines on April 30 and November 30. Recipients are selected by RSU's board and must submit a written report of at least one A4 page that can be published in the association's journal or website within four weeks after completing the assignment.
