Utviklingsstipend for tradisjonshåndverkere

Rogaland fylkeskommune

This development grant is designed to provide craftspeople in Rogaland with opportunities for professional development within building and vessel conservation. The stipend aims to stimulate and inspire continued efforts to preserve cultural heritage and traditional crafts as part of intangible cultural heritage. The program creates awareness about the importance of traditional craftspeople in preserving cultural monuments and craftsmanship traditions. Two grants of 75,000 NOK each are awarded annually to professional craftspeople working in traditional crafts who live and work in Rogaland. The grant prioritizes craftspeople employed in competitive businesses, though museum craftspeople and publicly employed craftspeople can apply as private individuals. Recipients must complete secondary education with a trade certificate or have at least five years of relevant work experience. The stipend can be used for training in older craft techniques, documentation of traditional methods, teaching others, and covering expenses related to testing techniques, training, or courses, including compensation for lost work income.

Tilskudd til fartøyvern (fylkeskommunalt tilskudd)

Akershus fylkeskommune

Akershus fylkeskommune offers grant support for the restoration and operation of vessels with cultural heritage status. This funding opportunity is specifically designed for vessels that have either applied for heritage protection status with the National Heritage Board (Riksantikvaren), have protected ship status, or are protected under the Cultural Heritage Act. The grant is only available for vessels with a home registration port in Akershus County. Priority is given to sustainable associations, organizations, or museums that demonstrate long-term and stable ownership. Vessels with a particular connection to the Akershus region are the primary target group for this funding program. The program follows the same guidelines and procedures as the National Heritage Board's vessel grants.
