Tilskudd til fartøyvern
Innlandet fylkeskommune offers grants for the preservation of historic vessels. Private owners and managers of protected or preserved ships (freda eller verna fartøy) can apply for funding to support restoration and maintenance activities. The county council has been responsible for vessel grants since 2020. The grant program is designed to support the conservation of culturally and historically significant vessels that have been granted protected status by Riksantikvaren (the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage). The program provides funding for securing, restoration, and maintenance of these protected vessels. The funding level varies depending on the type of intervention required, and the total available funding varies annually based on allocations from the national budget. Applications are evaluated collectively and approved grants are valid for three years, providing flexibility for project implementation.
Utviklingsstipend i tradisjonshandverk
Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune awards two development grants of 50,000 kroner each to individuals who wish to enhance their competence in traditional crafts. The grant is intended to create pride and attention to the central role traditional craftspeople have in preserving cultural heritage and passing on immaterial cultural heritage in the county to future generations. The grant supports professional craftspeople working with, or wishing to deepen their knowledge in, traditional craft fields within building preservation and vessel preservation. Applicants must live and work in Møre og Romsdal county. The grant can be used for competence-building activities such as deepening knowledge, testing and documenting older craft techniques, tool-making or material production, participating in courses, or working as an apprentice with other traditional craftspeople. The grant can cover lost work income and expenses related to the activity. Priority is given to traditional craftspeople who will use the grant in connection with work on heritage-worthy buildings or vessels, those early in their careers, and those who share knowledge and competence with others.
