Women in Finance Scholarship

Imperial College Business School is committed to closing the gender gap in business and is passionate about supporting talented women pursuing a career in finance. This scholarship provides financial support up to £25,000 to exceptional female candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and career potential. The scholarship is available to women studying within the Finance Suite at Imperial College Business School. Recipients are automatically considered based on their programme application and are selected for their exceptional academic background, typically a strong first-class honours degree or international equivalent, strong track record of leadership and/or leadership potential, and strong references. The scholarship aims to support women entering finance-related master's programmes and promote diversity in the financial sector.

WL Bill Byrnes Global Scholarship

The W L 'Bill' Byrnes Global Scholarship has been established thanks to a generous donation by the Fidelity UK Foundation in memory of Bill Byrnes, who played a significant role in the development of Fidelity as an international investment management business. The scholarship aims to support an academically brilliant student who can demonstrate that they have come from a financially disadvantaged background or are from the first generation in their family to attend university. One award of £30,000 is available to students joining the MSc Investment & Wealth Management programme at Imperial College London. Candidates who submit their application for the MSc Investment & Wealth Management programme and receive an offer for the programme will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

W L "Bill" Byrnes Global Scholarship

The W L "Bill" Byrnes Global Scholarship is a prestigious award offered by Imperial College Business School for students pursuing the MSc Investment & Wealth Management programme. The scholarship provides £30,000 towards tuition fees for the 2026/2027 academic year. This scholarship recognizes exceptional candidates who demonstrate strong academic backgrounds, professional excellence through internships and work experience, and outstanding communication skills. The scholarship is specifically designed to support students who face financial disadvantage or identify as first-generation students, making it an important opportunity for talented individuals who might otherwise face barriers to pursuing advanced education in investment and wealth management. The award is available to both home and overseas students who are applying for full-time study. Recipients are selected through a competitive process that includes a video assessment and interview, with candidates being evaluated on their academic potential, professional achievements, and communication abilities.
