About this opportunity

The Architecture, Design and Planning Dean's International Merit Scholarship is a $1,000 undergraduate scholarship established in 2003 by the dean of the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning at the University of Sydney. The scholarship aims to encourage talented international students who are recent high school leavers to pursue undergraduate study in architecture, design and planning programs. This merit-based scholarship is awarded automatically to eligible international students who achieve a minimum ATAR of 95 or equivalent and enroll in one of the following degree programs: Bachelor of Architecture and Environments, Bachelor of Design in Architecture, Bachelor of Design in Architecture (Honours) and Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design), or Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design) and Bachelor of Advanced Studies. The scholarship is tenable for one year only and is paid as a lump sum after the first applicable census date. No separate application is required as eligible candidates are considered automatically as part of the admissions process. Recipients must remain successfully enrolled in their degree program and maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout the year. This scholarship represents the University's commitment to attracting high-achieving international students to study architecture and design at one of Australia's leading universities.
