About This Opportunity
The Community Events Fund provides financial support to communities in Westminster to lead and organise events of cultural significance and events that promote community cohesion and integration. The fund recognises the importance of communities being able to organise cultural events, events that raise awareness of issues that affect the community, and events that bring communities together for collective reflection. Financial support is offered to organisations to help deliver new events in the City of Westminster, which can be used to book a space or pay for other associated event costs. Westminster City Council is keen to develop an interesting and successful year-round events calendar and encourages new community leaders and groups to come forward with new events that will complement the existing offer.
