About This Opportunity
The Dementia Resilient Communities Fund will invest in national projects that strengthen and expand dementia community supports across Scotland by developing a sustainable national infrastructure that will improve the lives of people with dementia and their care partners. This fund aligns with Scotland's Dementia in Scotland: Everyone's Story strategy, which recognises that dementia impacts everyone and that people with dementia face challenges often rooted in poor understanding, inequality or stigma. The fund aims to ensure that people with dementia benefit from civic participation, social inclusion, care and support through access to community-based dementia support services. Organisations must be working on a national basis and be able to demonstrate they are taking a strategic approach to developing the infrastructure of community support across Scotland. Projects must support both people with dementia and their care partners/unpaid carers.
