About This Opportunity
Two awards, each valued at $400, will be given annually to graduate students who are or who have been registered full-time in the Department of English Language and Literature within the past calendar year. One award will be given to a Master's student and one award to a Doctoral student. Selection will be made without the need for application by a committee in the department based on the best Master's and Doctoral essays submitted in a course during the past academic year. Selection is made annually in Winter term. This is an automatic selection award, meaning students do not need to apply; eligible essays are evaluated by the English Department faculty committee.
