About This Opportunity

The University of Strathclyde Faculty of Science offers up to 70 scholarships of £1,500 each to new UK fee-paying students joining an eligible postgraduate taught masters degree in the Faculty of Science in September 2026. These scholarships are designed to support students pursuing advanced studies in fields including Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Forensic Science, Immunology, Mathematics & Statistics, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences. Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate excellent academic performance, either current or previously achieved, along with any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience. The award is applied directly towards tuition fees, with full-time students receiving the full £1,500 and part-time students receiving £750 in each of their first and second years of study, subject to academic progression. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis starting November 5, 2025, with a final deadline of August 31, 2026. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle, so prospective students are advised to apply for admission early. Applicants must hold an offer of admission for an on-campus postgraduate taught masters degree in the Faculty of Science and be eligible for tuition fees at the Home or RUK (Rest of UK) fee rate. Successful candidates will be notified within four weeks of submitting their scholarship application form. Students are only eligible to hold one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde, and the scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred to other entry points.
