About this opportunity
The Harriet and Wilson Rush Memorial Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Harriet Rush, who graduated from Washington High School in 1931 and served as a public health school nurse from 1941 until 1977, and Wilson Rush, a lifetime resident of Washington, New Jersey, who was an active supporter of athletic programs and served as a Washington Township committeeman for thirty-nine years. The scholarship was begun in 1990 and is awarded annually to a graduating senior at Warren Hills High School who has been accepted at an accredited college or school of nursing with the intention of becoming a registered nurse.
