About this opportunity

The Carlsberg Foundation Internationalisation Fellowships are two to three-year postdoctoral fellowships designed to promote the internationalisation of talented young researchers from Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. The fellowship enables postdoctoral research at one or two leading international research institutions while facilitating reintegration into the Danish, Greenlandic, or Faroese research environment. The applicant can determine the duration of the project periods spent at both the international and the Danish, Greenlandic, or Faroese research institution, however the time allocated to the international research institution must constitute half of the total project period or more. The Carlsberg Foundation covers the fellow's full salary and operating expenses of DKK 8,000 per month. Additional amounts are available for applicants traveling with a partner (DKK 50,000 per year) or with children (DKK 100,000 per year) during the period abroad. The grant must be administered by the Danish, Greenlandic, or Faroese research institution, and the applicant will be employed at this institution for the entire project period of the fellowship. The applicant is expected to take up residence in the country where the international research institution is located during the international component of the fellowship.
