About This Opportunity
The Paul Beadle Scholarship was established in 2013 and is funded by the Paul Beadle Trust to commemorate Professor Paul Beadle, who was a sculptor and the Dean of Elam from 1961 to 1976. In 1977 he became the first Chair of Fine Arts. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support a student in their first year of a Master of Fine Arts or a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Arts at the Elam School of Fine Arts and to encourage excellence in the fine arts. The scholarship provides up to $4,000 in assistance for New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents enrolled full-time or part-time in an MFA or PGDipFA. One scholarship is awarded annually with a tenure of one year. Applications typically open on 1 July and close on 20 August each year.
