About this opportunity
A postgraduate research scholarship up to $40,000 per annum for a PhD student to undertake research in using phages to target antibiotic delivery. This unique opportunity is available for an outstanding PhD scholar to conduct a specific research project named 'Using phages to target antibiotic delivery.' The scholarship is funded by New South Wales (NSW) Health and the Westmead Institute for Medical Research as part of the NSW Health Phage Therapy PhD Program. The recipient will be supervised by Professor Jonathan Iredell and must be enrolled full-time in a PhD within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance of $40,000 per annum for up to 3.5 years for full-time enrolled recipients.
