About This Opportunity
The University of St Andrews provides a Sanctuary Scholarship specifically designed to support undergraduate and postgraduate applicants and current students who are seeking sanctuary in the UK. The scholarship is open to any applicant or current student with official Home Office status as an Asylum Seeker, Refugee, Humanitarian protection (with forced migration background), Limited leave to remain (with forced migration background), or Discretionary leave to remain (with forced migration background). A minimum of six scholarships are available annually. Each scholarship covers any remaining tuition fee liability not covered by public funding, accommodation support equivalent to a catered standard single room, and a weekly living allowance paid throughout the academic year. The University offers flexible funding to Sanctuary students depending on individual circumstances, immigration restrictions, and other funding provided.
