About this opportunity
The Sustainable Aquaculture Innovation Centre (SAIC) MSc Scholarship is designed to financially assist UK and overseas students who wish to develop their skills and career within Aquaculture at the University of Stirling's Institute of Aquaculture. The scholarship provides fully funded places, offering a full fee waiver to strong candidates who demonstrate their aims and ambitions within the field of Aquaculture. Recipients must make a compelling case for why they want to study at the Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling.
This scholarship is available for students enrolling in one of three MSc programmes: Aquatic Pathobiology, Aquatic Veterinary Studies, or Sustainable Aquaculture. The award is specifically for on-campus study at the Stirling campus, and distance learning is not permitted. There are 16 awards available for the academic year starting in September 2025.
Shortlisted candidates participate in a short informal interview with the scholarship panel within the faculty. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other University of Stirling scholarship or award. Recipients are required to sign an agreement outlining the conditions of the offer, and if they cease to be a registered student or do not fulfill the terms of their agreement, the scholarship may be suspended and they may be required to return any overpayments.
