About This Opportunity
This scholarship was established in 2000 and is maintained by gifts from the family of Kym Broadhurst, to encourage excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate study for visually impaired students. The bursary provides financial support for students with visual impairment (corrected vision must be less than 6:60) who are enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at The University of Queensland. The scholarship is awarded for the duration of the program and considers both academic achievement and leadership and community involvement in the selection process.
