About this opportunity

The Health and Welfare Grant is a funding program by Bærum Municipality designed to support voluntary and non-profit organizations working in the health and welfare sector. The grant aims to provide these organizations with the necessary framework conditions to contribute to better living conditions, social inclusion, and active community participation for residents of Bærum. Organizations can apply for two types of support: operational grants for running an organization or organizational unit, and project grants for time-limited projects (for establishing new projects or continuing newly established projects started within the last 2 years). The program prioritizes initiatives in mental health work, substance abuse work, measures that reduce exclusion for vulnerable groups in society, family work, public health work and preventive health work, services for people with reduced physical functioning and developmental disabilities, counseling and guidance, social work and employment-focused measures, visiting services, guide and mentor programs, user participation, peer and self-help work, and voluntary organizations that generate voluntary effort among the population in Bærum through recruitment, training and follow-up of volunteers. Applications are evaluated based on a comprehensive and discretionary assessment within the financial framework of the grant.
