The Central Energy Trust was created on the establishment of CentralPower Limited in 1993 in New Zealand. Originally holding a shareholding in CentralPower Limited, the Trust realized its interest in 2001 when Powerco merged with CentralPower Limited. The capital fund from this transaction has been invested in fixed interest securities and equities, with the resultant income available for distribution. The Trust provides grants to community, sporting, educational, cultural and health organisations within the Manawatu/Tararua regions for energy-related projects that benefit consumers of the former CentralPower/ElectroPower energy companies, as well as bursaries for students.

The Central European History Society (CEHS) is a scholarly organization founded in 1958 dedicated to promoting the study of Central Europe's complex history. The society publishes Central European History (CEH), a premier scholarly journal founded in 1968. In addition to publishing innovative scholarship, CEHS supports research into and teaching about Central European history through research grants, travel grants, an Emerging Scholar Program, and funding assistance for participation at academic conferences such as the American Historical Association's annual meeting.

The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a non-profit professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providing a forum for technology exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to environmental professionals. The Central New York Chapter serves approximately 300 members in diverse fields including engineering, compliance management, industrial hygiene, hazardous waste management, legal counsel, and government. The Charles Hayward Foundation is a grant-making charitable trust that funds UK registered charities. The Foundation awards grants in four main categories: Social & Criminal Justice (preventing people from entering the criminal justice system and supporting rehabilitation), Overseas (improving livelihoods in Commonwealth countries of Africa), Heritage & Conservation (preserving heritage assets of national significance), and Older People (enhancing quality of life at community level). The Charlie Perkins Scholarship Trust partners with the Aurora Education Foundation to deliver scholarships supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians to undertake postgraduate study at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Launched in 2009 in memory of Dr Charlie Perkins - the first Aboriginal person in Australia to graduate from university - the Trust provides annual scholarships directed towards Indigenous Australians who have the potential to become leaders in their field of study and in their communities. Since establishment, 34 Charlie Perkins Scholars have been accepted into full-time studies at Oxford and Cambridge, with 31 having graduated to date.
