About this opportunity
The ARIAM Research Hub PhD Scholarships provide opportunities for outstanding PhD scholars to work in a multidisciplinary research team within the Australian Research Council (ARC) Research Hub for Intelligent Robotics Systems for Real-Time Asset Management (ARIAM). The scholarship offers a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate per annum, maintained through satisfactory academic performance.
The ARIAM Research Hub will train PhD candidates in leading robotics, mechatronics and computer science methods that have real-world applications for the creation of intelligent robotics systems designed to inform better decision-making in the management of infrastructure and assets. Recipients are expected to work under the supervision of a Chief Investigator in the ARIAM Research Hub and may be required to spend time embedded with industry partner offices.
The scholarship is available for both domestic and international students enrolled full-time in a PhD program or Master's by Research with the intent to transfer to PhD within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. Engineering students applying for admissions are automatically considered for this scholarship, with no separate application required.
