About this opportunity

This grant aims to give universities and other research organizations the opportunity to develop and strengthen a research area by recruiting a distinguished researcher with current employment and research activities outside Europe in the near term. The grant should be used for costs associated with recruitment as well as salary funds for employment in Sweden for a limited time. The recruited guest researcher is expected to participate in the institution's research and contribute to strengthening the existing research environment, with the ambition to establish their research activities at the organization in the long term. The grant covers costs related to the researcher's relocation to Sweden, including moving costs, housing rental, travel between Sweden and the home country, certain research overhead costs caused by the move, and the researcher's salary during the stay in Sweden. The funded guest researcher must be employed by the university/organization during the entire visit.
