About this opportunity
Awards valued at $1,200 will be awarded annually to full-time graduate students enrolled in the Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program in the Faculty of Engineering. The award recognizes demonstrated energy, inclusivity, and interest in supporting fellow students with their academic and business endeavours, while also exhibiting an entrepreneurial passion in pursuit of their own projects. Support of undergraduate Conrad students through demonstrated leadership and mentorship opportunities, as well as a contribution to the broader university and local business community is an asset. This fund is made possible by a donation from family, friends and colleagues in honour of Howard Armitage, the founding director of the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business. This peer-nominated award requires a 250-word paragraph supporting the nomination outlining how the student nominee meets the award criteria, submitted annually to the Conrad school graduate co-ordinator at the end of fall term. Award selection takes place annually in the winter term by a committee chaired by the director of the Conrad School.
