About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student to evaluate the impact of local fresh food production systems on food security and other health outcomes in rural and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and help define the mechanisms for any improvements. The scholarship is funded by a donation from the USA Foundation and provides a stipend equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) rate for up to 3.5 years for full-time students or up to 7 years for part-time students. Recipients must be currently enrolled in a PhD at the University of Sydney and have commenced their PhD in Research Period 4, 2024 or earlier.
