About This Opportunity

The Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Quantitative Modelling of Jetlag has been developed to support an outstanding postgraduate research student in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney to undertake research in quantitative modelling of jetlag. This scholarship is aligned to the ARC Linkage Project 'Paving the way for ultra-long-haul flights: strategies to mitigate jetlag' under the supervision of Associate Professor Svetlana Postnova. The scholarship provides a living allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years for PhD candidates subject to meeting academic progression requirements. Applicants must hold an Honours degree (First Class) or equivalent, or a Master's degree with a substantial research component in project physics, engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, physiology, biology, and neuroscience. The successful applicant will be selected based on demonstrated academic achievement, research experience, curriculum vitae, area of study and/or research proposal, personal statement demonstrating interest in the research project, and interview.
