About This Opportunity
The Rudolph and Carolyn Christianson Scholarship was established in 1991 through the final will of Carolyn Christianson, with all proceeds from her estate going into scholarship and community funds at the Community Foundation of North Central Washington. Although Rudolph and Carolyn Christianson had no children of their own, they felt the importance of supporting the education of other young people in North Central Washington. This scholarship is very competitive with over 100 applicants each year from students across Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. The ideal student demonstrates promise, potential, and leadership abilities. The scholarship is paid in equal installments over 4 years to support graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education.
