About This Opportunity

The Syngenta Scholarship is a competitive award open to 2nd year BSc or 1st year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams University who are interested in pursuing a career with Syngenta following graduation. Only students eligible to work in the UK should apply. The scholarship provides significant financial support and employment opportunities for successful recipients. Syngenta may award up to two scholarships annually. Successful recipients receive a contribution towards their education of £4,500 in the year prior to placement, along with guaranteed employment with Syngenta during their placement year. A placement year with Syngenta must be suitable for the student's course area, and applicants should consult with their Placement Manager if clarification is needed. This is a competitive award evaluated on merit based on the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview performance. A key condition of the scholarship is that recipients must undertake their placement year with Syngenta. The award is paid in two equal parts: half in February and the remaining balance in May of the award year. The scholarship is designed to support students pursuing careers in agriculture and related fields, providing both financial assistance during their studies and valuable professional experience through the placement year with Syngenta, a leading agriculture and crop science company.
