Alumni Fee Scholarship
The Durham University Alumni Fee Scholarship is designed to support Durham University graduates who are considering further study, retraining, and career advancement. This scholarship contributes to the cost of tuition fees for postgraduate degree and PGCE programmes across all faculties of the University. The scholarship provides a 10% discount on tuition fees for all postgraduate taught Masters programmes (MA, MSc, LLM, PGCE, MBA) and postgraduate research programmes (MRes). For alumni commencing new postgraduate research programmes, the 10% fee discount applies for each year of their published programme length. Eligibility is automatic for Durham University alumni who hold a Bachelor's or higher degree from Durham and apply for a course beginning in the 2026-27, 2027-28, or 2028-29 academic year. Applicants must be self-funding or majority self-funding, with their personal contribution exceeding the value of the scholarship. The scholarship is available for both full-time and part-time study modes. No separate application is required - eligible alumni automatically receive the discount. Those holding only CHE/DHE or postgraduate/CPD credits, or those with outstanding financial debt to the University, are not eligible until their debt is cleared.
