About this opportunity
The Order of Australia Association Foundation Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship providing up to $40,000 over two years for second-year students in commerce-related degrees at the University of Sydney. This scholarship has been donated by Mr Paul Wheelton AM KSJ to support students of exceptional academic and community leadership potential who are studying business and stand to benefit from the financial support provided by the scholarship.
The Order of Australia Association Foundation is committed to supporting the next generation of leaders by helping promising young Australians achieve their potential for the benefit of future generations of Australians. Recipients are selected based on academic merit, demonstrated community and leadership involvement, career plans, and financial need.
Beyond the financial award, scholarship recipients receive mentorship from an eminent mentor who has received an Award in The Order of Australia in their chosen field of study, and an invitation to a gala Awards Ceremony associated with the Association's Annual Conference Dinner. Recipients may also be invited to promote the program, represent the University of Sydney at events, and fulfil Business School Student Ambassador functions.
