The Data Lab Scholarships

SSSC Bursary for MSc/PGDip Social Work

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) provides postgraduate bursaries for nominated full-time home students studying MSc or PGDip Social Work at Robert Gordon University. This bursary is specifically designed for students with a household income of less than £34,000. The bursary provides financial support valued at £3,415 to help qualifying students pursue their social work education. Scholarships for our international partner institutions

Robert Gordon University offers scholarship opportunities to international students joining from articulation partner institutions. In recognition that many articulation students will join into years 2, 3 or 4 of undergraduate degree courses, or the postgraduate diploma stage of Master's courses and may not be eligible for some other scholarships, RGU makes these opportunities available where possible. These scholarships are agreed with partner institutions and communicated either through them or automatically when students apply to RGU. The scholarship value is dependent on individual circumstances and is applied as a reduction in tuition fees upon enrollment. Students must be eligible for an offer from RGU, be classified as international fee payers, and be self-funding. The specific scholarship terms vary by partner institution.

RGU International Student January Scholarship for Master's students

Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC) Oil and Gas Learning Foundation Scholarship

Emergency Loan Fund

The Emergency Loan Fund provides short-term financial assistance to students at Robert Gordon University who find themselves in immediate financial difficulty. Emergency loans are designed to help with essential maintenance costs such as food, travel, and consumables/toiletries. Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)

Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) is designed to cover any extra costs or expenses students may have while studying arising from their disability, health condition or specific learning difference. CONACyT (Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia)

CONACyT is a scholarship program offered by the Government of Mexico for Mexican students to pursue postgraduate study at approved international institutions. Robert Gordon University is recognized by CONACyT as one of the approved institutions for receiving fully funded students for postgraduate taught and research programmes. The scholarship covers up to 300,000 MXN (Mexican pesos) in tuition costs per year for MSc and PhD programmes, plus a £770 per month stipend during the whole duration of the programme in living expenses costs and an additional one-time £150 for medical insurance (NHS surcharge). Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund (CCSF)

Founded in 1967 by the Canadian Women's Club to mark Canada's centennial, the CCSF has awarded some 500 scholarships to outstanding students from across Canada who are enrolled in postgraduate programmes at UK universities, colleges, institutes or conservatories. Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic or artistic excellence and their ability to represent Canada in the UK. They represent a breadth of academic interests and pursuits. Awards are granted to scholars from a wide range of disciplines including science, engineering, social science and humanities as well as music, creative arts and design.
